The Temper Trap on MBE

Australia’s The Temper Trap have steadily built a dedicated following in America over the last couple of years thanks to a killer live show and placements in the movie “500 Days of Summer,” as well as major TV commercials. As Jason mentioned, one commercial features the music without voiceover interruption and, while proclaiming that they want to get their music out to as many people as possible, the band also joked that “its always been our dream to write an inspirational montage song and that’s kinda what that was.” At least they’re honest!

Frontman Dougie Mandagi always has impressive vocals – but even more impressive at 11am! They’re headed over to the UK for a string of sold out shows and this is a great time to catch up with this band if you haven’t heard them yet. Check out the set here
