Track Premiere: Quantic – Cumbia Sobre El Mar (El Buho Remix)

Today we bring you a super sweet premiere in the form of an El Buho/Quantic collab.

It comes to us from El Buho’s forthcoming remix album entitled, Tributaries (out on Wonderwheel Recordings Nov 9th). And, as the title foreshadows, Robin Perkins aka El Buho remixes some classics and a couple of his personal favorite tracks as tribute to the inspiring sounds.

If you told me, Quantic’s classic cover of Trio Serenata’s, Cumbia Sobre el Mar, needed a rad remix I’d say, “Sacrilege!”

But listen to the way El Buho is able to flesh out an even deeper groove from this jam! True talent! This will be the perfect album for Fall.
