Two recent guests on Morning Becomes Eclectic were nominated for “Best Original Score – Motion Picture” Golden Globes this morning – Trent Reznor for his work with Atticus Ross on “The Social Network” and Danny Elfman for “Alice in Wonderland.” Elfman dropped by the studio at the end of last month to chat with DJ Chris Douridas about his work with director Tim Burton — a collaboration that spans 25 years.

All the other nominees – Alexandre Desplat (“The King’s Speech”), A.R. Rahman (“127 Hours”) and Hans Zimmer (“Inception”) have previously appeared on KCRW as well and these interviews are all worth revisiting if you’re curious about their process.
