I love Herman Dune’s whimsical catchy pop. I was first won over by the track “Wish That I Could See You Soon.” I’m a romantic and it hit all the right notes with me.

When I saw them live I was surprised by a few things: They’re French. Frontman David-Ivar is a very tall, bearded man. And I liked every single song they played, most of them off their Everloving release “Next Year in Zion”.

When I heard new music was on the horizon, I got excited. When I heard Mad Men’s Jon Hamm was starring in the video for the first single, I got really excited.

It’s slightly strange and very sweet, just like the music. Check out “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know.”
