In an interview with KCRW’s Chery Glaser, Horn makes the case that Sundance plays a crucial curatorial role in helping audiences sort through the thousands of independent films that come out each year. He says it also remains a key venue for connecting filmmakers and would-be distributors, even though the nature of distribution has changed considerably as a result of advances in digital technology.
