It only comes around every four years and the intrinsic pride for country that resonates with both the most passionate fanatics to the slightly fair-weathered of futbol fans… excuse me, soccer fans, is akin to, if not far more intense than the Olympics.

So in honor of the World Cup in Brazil getting under way today, we decided to curate a not so Pitbull/J-lo/Shakira-esque playlist for the occasion.

We showed a slight favoritism towards the host country and also highlighted 10 of the 40 qualifying countries in the Tournament.
