This week she met up with Noelle Buben from Visit Santa Barbara and Rachel Low from Santa Barbara Adventure Company about Epicure.SB, a month-long culinary celebration in October.
As part of the festival, Santa Barbara Adventure Company decided to make the market an adventure in and of itself. Every Saturday this month, a guide takes people through the market to pick up lunch fixings, through Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone to sample wines and finally to Stearns Wharf to make a picnic lunch.
“It really is a sensory experience, just as kayaking through a sea cave is a sensory experience. It really connects you to a place,” says Low.
