Love design and books? Here’s what you should check out this weekend at the L.A. Times Festival of Books.

The Annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books hits L.A. this weekend, and thousands of visitors will get the chance to hear from some of their favorite authors. It turns out there will be a number of events that will cater to design enthusiasts as well. Hear Stephen Gee, author of Iconic Vision: John Parkinson Architect of Los Angeles participate in a discussion on the history of California; also KCRW’s own Hunter Drohojowska-Philp talks about designing book covers with graphic designer Chip Kidd, and you can learn about “living in style” from Rachel Zoe.
