Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize-winning food writer for the LA Times. This week, he visits Cassia in Santa Monica. The buzzy new opening is a partnership between chef Bryant Ng (formerly of Spice Table), Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan. He recommends the charcuterie plate, cucumber salad, chopped escargot, white pepper crab and Vietnamese pot au feu.
