This week Jonathan Gold reviews Red Medicine, a restaurant steeped in controversy. Perhaps best known for outing the identity of LA Times food critic S. Irene Virbila, the restaurant is also known for the food which Jonathan describes as “neo-Nordic.”
He recommends the brassicas, trout roe, chicken dumplings and the dungeness crab.
