“My photo is published alongside my column every Tuesday in The Daily Telegraph. It’s the same for every major Australian critic.”

My friend Simon Thomsen, restaurant critic for The Daily Telegraph in Sydney, posted these thoughts on the recent kerfuffle involving the LA Times’ Irene Virbila.
