Every Tuesday I answer a question from a Good Food listener. You can email me a question, leave one on Facebook or add one in the comments section here. This week’s question comes from Susan:
How do I counteract during cooking, the feeling spinach, kale and chard leave on your teeth?
That feeling you’re feeling is the Oaxalic Acid in those greens. I haven’t heard of any technique that reduces that feeling on your teeth. Cooking, of course, makes it marginally less apparent than when eating those dark leafy greens raw.
