Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize winning food writer for the Los Angeles Times. This week he reviews Adana, an under-the-radar Middle Eastern restaurant in Glendale where the chicken kabob is perplexingly delicious. But the star of the show is the cheese plate.

What to Order: The cheese plate, kashk e bademjan, dolmeh, fattoush, shirin polo and chicken kebab.

Where is it? 6918 San Fernando Road, Glendale, (818) 843-6237

All of Jonathan’s restaurant recommendations can be found on the Good Food Restaurant Map. You can read his LA Times review here.
