Red Medicine

Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize-winning food writer for the LA Weekly. This week, he reviews Red Medicine, the acclaimed and controversial restaurant, which got a lot of attention when it snapped a photo of LA Times restaurant critic Irene Virbila. Jonathan likes the food and goes as far as saying that it's the most modern restaurant in Los Angeles right now. He likes the banh mi, the pork pate, Kelly's mom's farm egg, the amberjack and the guinea fowl.
