…will forever be remembered. But those of us who were fortunate to meet the giant at the 2012 Good Food Pie Contest will remember him as Huell Howser – the man who was “pie’d out.” Howser graciously agreed to judge the 2012 contest and after learning that his favorite pie was Banana Cream we asked him to taste cream pies. The 2012 pie contest saw record entries in the cream/chiffon/mousse category and after sampling all the entries Howser declared himself – in that incredible voice – “pie’d out.”
