For our next Good Food Happy Hour, we’re teaming up with Gustavo Arellano and the OC Weeklyfor a night of food and drink at Mesa in Costa Mesa. Join me and Gustavo at Mesa on Thursday, November 10th from 7-9pm. The restaurant is offering some amazing food and drink deals (see below) as well as an opportunity for a FREE APPETIZER if you are there at exactly 7:20pm.

WHAT: Good Food Monthly Happy Hour

WHEN: Thursday, November 10, 7-9 pm

WHERE: Mesa, 725 Baker Street, Costa Mesa in the OC (714-557-6700)

DRINK SPECIALS: For $5, Mixologist Jane Clark’s Fall Spiced Sangria: red wine, peach liqueur, brandy, fresh orange and pomegranate juices, apple, orange and lemon slices, and housemade juniper berry/anise simple syrup.

FOOD SPECIALS: For $10, Mesa chef Jason Travi’s Southern-style fried-chicken slider, lightly decorated with aioli and a house pickle, served on a torta with a side of crispy artichoke hearts and remoulade sauce.

FREE APPETIZER DEAL: One free appetizer at 7:20 p.m. for anyone who’s there, first-come, first-served: rib-eye tataki with arugula and capers.
