Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer-prize winning food writer for the Los Angeles Times. This week he reviews Brodard Chateau, a restaurant in Garden Grove specializing in central Vietnamese cuisine. Jonathan says the draw is their nem nuong, a popular Vietnamese street food.

The main attraction are the nem nuong, but Jonathan also recommends the “moon cakes” or banh khot, the fresh clam and rice and the bun hanoi.

All of Jonathan Gold’s restaurant suggestions are on the Good Food restaurant map.
