Jonathan Gold is the Pulitzer Prize winning food writer for the LA Times. This week he reviews Girasol, the new restaurant from Top Chef alum CJ Jacobson. At brunch he recommends the house cured grav lax, french toast, ricotta pancakes and the fruit plate. At dinner he suggests the beets and berries, hamachi with citrus, pork satay and the grilled wagyu steak.
