The Dark Knight's Dark Night

Hosted by

Kim and John respond to the massacre at the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado. As the story continues to unfold, it raises questions about violence in society and in movies, the issue of gun control and the safety of movie theaters. Kim and John reflect on the unwritten pact in society that you can go into a movie theater and leave your cares behind, and how that pact has now been violated. On the film business side of things, they discuss Warner Bros' cancelation of the Paris premiere of The Dark Knight and it pulling trailers for an upcoming film, Gangster Squad, because it featured a shooting in a movie theater.
