Warner Bros Needs a Super Success in 'Batman v Superman'

So far, critics are not crazy for Zach Snyder's movie that pits the two super heroes against each other. This could be trouble for Warner Bros. The company needs this very expensive movie to be a hit following a year of flops.

Warner Bros desperately needs a blockbuster. The studio has suffered big losses in the past year when expensive movies like Pan and Jupiter Ascending tanked at the box office. There were high hopes that Batman v Superman would save the day, but ahead of the film's release this weekend, reviews have been less than stellar. Considering the two main characters, the movie will be huge regardless, but it remains to be seen if the poor reviews will hinder profits. The film is said to have cost $300 million, along with a huge marketing budget, so it will take a lot of fan boys and fan girls around the world rushing to the box office to make it profitable.
