The LAPD, the LA County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI joined local Muslim leaders today to publicly condemn a series of letters sent to area mosques since the election of Donald Trump. The letters were delivered to the Islamic Center of Southern California in LA, along with mosques in Signal Hill, Northridge, Claremont and San Jose. They warn of a pending "cleansing" of America under president-Elect Trump. And come at a time when hate crimes against the Muslim community continue to rise.
