The 2015 Special Olympics World Games have kicked off in Los Angeles with events scheduled between now and August 2nd in everything from basketball, swimming and tennis, to bowling, powerlifting and the Italian sport of bocce. Meanwhile, there's news today that the City of Boston withdrew its bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympics. What could that mean for LA?
