Will LA voters give Metro the money it wants?

Hosted by

Metro’s recent additions to its train network are proving to be popular, and Measure M would finance the next generation – including a possible tunnel under the Sepulveda Pass.  It would raise an estimated $860 million a year through a new, permanent half-cent sales tax, and that would increase to a whole cent in 2039. But it’s just one of several taxes you’ll be asked to approve – on yourself – come this November, from housing and programs for the homeless to development and repair of local parks.
