Carson Daly: NBC's Workhorse Host

Hosted by

He came into prime time this summer with the NBC hit The Voice, a singing competition imported from Holland, but for nearly a decade and through tough times at NBC Carson Daly has kept his late night show alive. He talks about being criticized for going on the air during the writers' strike, how his late night show was nearly pushed off the schedule during the Leno/Conan debacle, and how he's reinvented his format due to budget cuts. Daly also reveals that he once considered entering the priesthood and that before he fell in love with radio he was on track to be a pro golfer and even carpooled with Tiger Woods. (Note that this week's is a slightly truncated show.)
