He ended up documenting Greta Thunberg’s rise as one of the world’s most prominent climate change activists. His new film, “I Am Greta,” is now streaming on Hulu.
Grossman initially had to get over his self-admitted pessimism to make sure Thunberg was worth filming. He discusses why he was initially skeptical of her and how he ultimately convinced himself to follow the young activist across the Atlantic Ocean.
