Robert and Michelle King -- the creators and show-runners of the CBS drama The Good Wife, starring Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth -- say that having their show presented to advertisers at the TV upfronts is like being at an insurance salesmen convention except with great jokes. They also talk about the challenges a 10pm drama like theirs faces in the age of the DVR. Despite the series being a critical darling and even winning a Peabody Award this year, it doesn't get great ratings. They also say being married and working together in the TV business has its advantages, though it may be turning their child into a mini studio executive.
