David Gordon Green and Emile Hirsch

FI-LACMA.jpgWARNING: THIS BONUS EPISODE OF THE TREATMENT CONTAINS LANGUAGE THAT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. From George Washington to Undertow, to Snow Angels, to The Sitter, there's nothing quite like what Elvis calls the 'easily-bored, fast moving, all-inclusive mind' of David Gordon Green. His latest film, Prince Avalanche, stars Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch as an unlikely road crew in charge of re-painting lines down a highway after a horrible wildfire sweeps through the landscape. Green talks about the Icelandic film that inspired Prince Avalanche, and actor Hirsch recounts an especially funny encounter he had with co-star, the late actor Lance LeGault. This conversation was recorded as part of the Film Independent at LACMA film series.
