Take a high school debater with a stutter. Add a fast-talking girl disguising her insecurities. Throw in a first-time fiction director. The result is Rocket Science, writer-director Jeffrey Blitz's second film. His first was the documentary Spellbound.

Jeffrey discusses the difference between casting a documentary and a narrative film, the success of Spellbound, how he embraces the 'happy accidents' that occur during a shoot, his own experiences of growing up with a stutter and the influences of Hal Ashby and Preston Sturges.
