Long time NPR and Los Angeles film critic Kenneth Turan knows a thing or two about film. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York watching Million Dollar Movie provided him with a foundation of film culture and guided his criticisms across all genres. Today on The Treatment, Turan provides insights from his sifting process that determined the 54 picks in his book Not to Be Missed: Fifty-Four Favorites from a Lifetime of Film.
