Phil Rosenthal: Exporting Raymond

Elvis hosts writer, producer, director and creator of Everybody Loves Raymond, Phil Rosenthal, to talk about his latest production, Exporting Raymond.

The documentary follows Rosenthal to Russia where he expects to be warmly received as an adviser to their version of Eveybody Loves Raymond. It's a fascinating insight into the world of Russian popular culture and follows the filmmaker's unpredictable journey as he encounters conflicts and misunderstandings with various members of the production team, as well as coming up against some of the same battles with studio executives that he had to fight when making Everybody Loves Raymond in the US.
