Later that Same Day

Hosted by

Despite the pretty title, most of the stories in this show don't actually happen in one day. In fact, there's a huge passage of time. When the stories begin, the world is aligned one way. Years pass and everything changes. Scott Carrier tells the story of the most hated environmentalists in Boulder, Utah - people who are actually burned in effigy, they're despised so fully - and how, after seven years, they come to agree with the other side on more things than not. Also: a woman who experiences every moment of the present through a future yet to come, and John Hodgman returns to the beach after a dreadful year.
