Susie and John moved to their farm just two years ago. But when John got sick for a while, people who were no more than friendly acquaintances started helping out, in ways that were completely surprising. It's strange to be independent adults, and suddenly find yourselves cared for in so many ways, by so many people. It breaks down barriers. It changes things. And some people - like a doctor who finds himself bedridden in another story in this week's show - prefer to believe they don't need the help.
