KCRW Family Day with Skirball Cultural Center

Bring the family, turn up the volume!

  • When: Sunday, October 4 | 11:00 AM–4:00 PM (KCRW activations 11 AM–3 PM)

  • Where: Skirball Cultural Center (2701 N Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles)

  • Best for: Ages 6–10 (and young music lovers of all ages!)

We’re taking over the Skirball for an interactive day centered around rhythm, sound, and creation. Let the kids lead the way through hands-on workshops, live sets, and museum exploration.

What’s happening:

  • Pop-up rhythm lessons with Silverlake Conservatory of Music

  • Flow and movement sessions with Dance Church

  • Songwriting 101 with826LA

  • Make-your-own musical bell wands with reDiscover Center

  • Curated sets by KCRW DJ Tana Yonas

  • Free entry to Skirball’s museum galleries, Archaeology Dig, and art activities! (Note: Noah’s Ark tickets are first-come, first-served for paid tickets)
