Nominated for six Grammys since her debut album, Janelle Monáe has become one of the most iconic women in music with her mix of R&B, soul, hip-hop, funk and science-fiction surrealism. Youngest son of Fela, Seun Kuti leads his father's final band, Egypt 80, with passionate lead vocals, fierce horn hooks and unbridled hard-hitting grooves. Monáe’s smooth soul label mate Roman GianArthur opens.

Nearly 30 years on, Pixies still rock, now better than ever. Having influenced such artists as Nirvana, Radiohead, and David Bowie, the ferocious Boston quartet dominates the stage with their blistering unpredictability. Gypsy punk collective Gogol Bordello and the idiosyncratic Cat Power share the bill for this one-time-only performance.
