Shuffling through my iTunes this morning I landed on the full length debut from Ima Robot and was struck by singer Alex Ebert’s transformation from punk to fronting the love-in that is Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. It’s pretty amazing that he’s been behind two of my favorite LA bands of the ‘00s. His new alter ego, post drug addiction, is by far my favorite but revisiting “Dynomite” was a treat I wanted to share!
