Animal’s Jon Shook on KCRW’s Guest DJ Project

Chef Jon Shook (and his partner Vinny Dotolo) have received so much foodie fan and press attention for their creativity in the kitchen at their restaurant Animal (check out this NY Times article) that it’s easy to think they were an overnight success. Not true at all. In fact, Jon tells the story of how he decided to pursue culinary adventures and about making the move to LA with Vinny while sharing some of his favorite songs as part of KCRW’s Guest DJ Project.
