Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

Monday, August 13,
Longtime KCRW favorites Antibalas are reenergized on their new album after several of their members were featured in the Tony Award winning play “Fela!”. The Brooklyn-based band will bring their take on Afrobeat to our studios on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Tuesday, August 14,
Toronto’s Diamond Rings preview songs from their upcoming release — a brilliant mix of high energy and glamour. Tune in to Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, August 15, UK dance-punk purveyors Bloc Party return to KCRW to premiere live versions of songs from their new album “Four”, with a decidedly more rock-driven sound. The session was recorded in front of a live audience at Apogee’s Berkeley St Studios. Hear it on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.
