From our NYC correspondent DJ Jason Eldredge:

Recently, I brought you an exclusive from Sam Sparro and today I have another recommendation from the land of house, this one coming from the incomparable Canadian crew, Azari & III. With a full length album due out early 2011, I’ve been playing two tracks called “Indigo” and “Reckless With Your Love.” Both are funk-fueled, jack your body jams reminiscent of other 80’s Chicago aficionados like Hercules & Love Affair, but with a new twist. Deep. Deep. Deep. That’s all I can say.

I recently passed the track “Indigo” off to KCRW DJ Liza Richardson, so you can hear it on her show too if you don’t catch it on mine… Or just listen to it here!

Other albums that have been making their way onto my playlists recently include: The Count & Sinden “Mega Mega Mega,” Underworld “Barking,” Robyn “Body Talk, Pt. 2,” and Klaxons “Surfing the Void.”

More soon!
