Blind Pilot is Back – Tour Dates and More

Written by
Blind Pilot by Ben Moon

When I first met Blind Pilot back in 2008, they were biking their way down the West Coast, stopping for shows along the way. It was a pretty big endeavor, hauling their instruments behind them and finding places to crash each evening. But their spirit was really infectious and their music was a kind of catchy folk that has now become hugely popular.  Their debut album “3 Rounds and a Sound” was a breakout hit, and rightfully so. Now, they’re back …and better than ever.

Stream “Keep You Right”:

Jason has been spinning new tracks steadily for weeks and, in the Mumford and Sons/Avett Bros/Americana revolution of the moment, it’s a fine contribution from a band that hasn’t gotten nearly enough recognition considering how talented they are. I hope that changes soon. These guys are the real deal, and incredibly nice to boot!

Revisit their excellent 2009 live set on Morning Becomes Eclectic here. They’ll be swinging by the El Rey Theater on November 18 and you can see the rest of their tour dates below.
