First Fridays February 2014: Baths and Peaking Lights

Conway and Youngblood Hawke kicked off the 2014 season of First Fridays at the Natural History Museum and this week Peaking Lights and Baths keep it going, with a little help from KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez and King Most on the decks in the African Mammal Hall.

Baths is a project from Will Wiesenfeld, who went from playing tiny LA clubs to headlining this notable series in just a few years.  His critically-acclaimed debut album,Cerulean”, showed he has something special to bring to LA’s electronic scene and you can get a taste for his live show below.

Peaking Lights , an LA duo (by way of Wisconsin), have a mesmerizing, mellow electronic sound. “Blissfully chill” as DJ Mario Cotto says.

Coming up on March 7, Son Lux and San Fermin with special guests wild Up Orchestra, joined by DJ Wiseacre and Anthony Valadez.

Per-sale tickets for this Friday are sold out but there are always a limited number of pre-sale tickets available at the door. Get there early!
