Sisterly L.A. band Haim have found a unique space where stonery Freaks and Geeks late 70s garage band vibes meet early 90s RnB cool with layers of soaring Fleetwood Mac-ish harmonies. It’s a seemingly weird combo, but they make it work…really well.

Their single “Falling” is fantastic.

And now…it’s also totally MAGIKAL as a couple of my favorite dudes Psychemagik have taken the single into the depths of the Cosmic Forest and turned it into a dazzling chugger…

If you missed the Psychemagik boys at Jeremy Sole’s The Lift…fear not, they’re coming back to the best coast in May for the L.I.B. Festival…and they have a new compilation called Magic Circles coming out on Leng at the end of April.
