You might remember an LA band by the name Lady Danville (they did a killer cover of MGMT’s “Kids”), a trio that emerged from the Awaken A Capella ensemble at UCLA. Well, that band is no longer. However Dan Chang and Michael Garner are banding together as a new duo called Hunter Hunted.

They tell me the name comes from the idea that one day you can feel on top of the world and the next you could be at the bottom. I’m pretty sure we’ve ALL been there.

Just like their previous band, they weave intricate vocal harmonies into voluminous, soaring songs that toe the line between California indie and folk rock.

They’ve already released a video for the track called “End of the World” and we’re thrilled to premiere a new track called “Keep Together”. It’s an undeniably catchy pop song that has me excited for what else they might have in store.

Stream “Keep Together”:

The band has a few local dates coming up so you can see them live — February 6 at Soho House, February 8 at Harvard and Stone and February 12 headlining The Troubadour.
