The true “King of Pop” – Iggy Pop that is – performed a rare live radio session for KCRW earlier this month that will be broadcast in full on Morning Becomes Eclectic, this Wednesday, March 30. The full session will also be here starting that morning, but in the meantime here is a taste of what Iggy’s got cookin’!

For this unique occasion, Iggy was joined by producer/guitarist/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/bandleader Joshua Homme, Homme’s Queens Of The Stone Age bandmate and Dead Weather-man Dean Fertita and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders & augmented by QOTSA multi-instrumentalist Troy Van Leeuwen and journeyman guitarist/bassist Matt Sweeney. It was the first time the band had played together since announcing the project on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, so it truly was a special moment not to be missed!!!
