Guyssssssszzzz. I’m not going to SXSW (again). I like to uphold tradition and I remain resolute on that! Last week’s post wasn’t all that entertaining. Apologies. I was out of town and out of my mind on little sleep.
Our KCRW Presents schedule is barren this week, but I did confirm a ‘KCRW Presents’ with the uber cheerful and talented Josh Rouse at the Hotel Café on May 22. He’s one of those performers that I always see when he tours LA, because I know I will have a great time at the show. Here’s one of my favorite tracks from his Nashville album:
Another newly minted ‘KCRW Presents’ show is Escondido at Pappy & Harriet’s on May 13. They just recently performed on MBE, which you can (re)visit here.
On the giveaway front, Anne Litt will have tickets to the sold out Leon Bridges show at the Wiltern next weekend.
