Nashville singer-songwriter Madi Diaz hit us with a few ounces of sweetness with the release of her EP “Far From Things That We Know” last fall, including the single “Let’s Go“. There’s something special about romantic pop music that can manage to maintain it’s warmth while still being catchy.

And as we gear up for the release of her full length “Plastic Moon” (out January 24), I wanted to revisit the track (which is included on that disc as well) and share a remix of her song “Trust Fall” by Jensen Sportag that has been getting lots of spins recently.

Madi was home schooled by her Peruvian mother and her Danish father, who was a musician himself. She started on piano at age 5 and switched to guitar in her early teens, eventually attending the esteemed the Berklee College of Music in Boston. She headed to Nashville in 2010 with her songwriting partner Kyle Ryan and her profile has grown from there!

She’ll be in LA on February 3 for a show at the Bootleg Theater and if you want more Madi, go download her track “Nothing At All“, which is being offered as Today’s Top Tune!
