I stumbled on this video and loved it so much I stopped everything to write a post for the KCRW Music Blog.

I truly have no clue as to how this artist’s music managed to crawl its way into my laptop, but somehow I was preparing for my show and a few of the songs began to play. I thought “wow” who is this? It’s been a minute since I’ve heard such lush and genuine songs being played from my speakers (other than Andreya Triana).

Maylee Todd is from Toronto and instantly won over my heart the minute I viewed the video above!
