Onra is a Parisian producer who has displayed growth throughout his years as an artist in his own right. I first came across this 2007 release entitled Chinooseries, which mixed Chinese pop records he had purchased in Vietnam and mixing these samples with 90 bpm beats. It was unlike anything else I had heard before. His latest release entitled Long Distance demonstrates his love for 80’s synth boogie soul.
