Our favorite Aussie DJ duo Flight Facilities have been putting out excellent single after single, having us chomping at the bit for more – and perhaps a full album.
Well, it looks like 2014 will be the year for FF fans!
From FF: “We’re half finished with our first large format release for mid-2014. We hate the term concept album, but it’s feeling a little like that. It includes a short film and some big name collaborations.”
Speaking of collaborations, the band recruited the highly respected Sydney-born-Paris-based pop singer Micky Green to add some bubblegum sweetness to their latest single “Stand Still”, streaming below.
With a whistle hook like that, it is sure to be a hit. Like all their tunes, it’s pretty undeniable.
The single is out today on Future Classic/Glassnote and is available with three remixes, featuring Sydney’s Wave Racer, Future Classic alumni (and Lithuania’s Producer of the Year) Mario Basanov, and New York’s Com Truise, who brings his synth-heavy sounds to the table.
