Many of us here at the station had their self-titled debut on heavy rotation & H.S.K.T. (Head Shoulder Knees Toes) was one of those songs that just about everyone gravitated towards. It’s just one of those tracks that you just can’t help but to move to.
Hercules & Love Affair has been a KCRW favorite since their debut in 2008 when they burst onto the scene with their nu-disco style of production. This made them a perfect fit to sign with DFA Records, which was co-founded by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem.
So what happens when you add SE’s hypnotic vocals & melodies with HLA’s seductive & groovy production?
You get this dirty space disco treatment of H.S.K.T.
