Celebrity jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino is famous for her bright bold colors and inventive designs. In fact, she loves color so much, she has fuchsia hair! Her love for music is just as influential on her work and she’s even created some headphones fit for a fashionista! They’re incredible. (see below)

She creates unique playlists for each of her collections and even reveals her romantic side, sharing the song that escorted her down the aisle when she married her husband/business partner Alfonso Campos.

The pair are longtime KCRW listeners and hung out in our Music Library for almost an hour after we taped her Guest DJ set and even offered to contribute some rare soundtracks they have on vinyl!

Tarina Tarantino’s brand is headquartered in Downtown LA at a building dubbed “The Sparkle Factory,” which was recently hit by infamous graffiti artist Banksy. How cool is that?

Hear her entire Guest DJ set online here and see her song picks below.

p.s.: She also just launched a make up line for Sephora “inspired by mystical DJ Starchild’s fantastical journey through space and time.” Intriguing!

Tarina’s Song Picks

Roxy Music – No Strange Delight

Royksopp – You Don’t Have a Clue

Michel Legrand – Generique

J.D. King – Peppermint Dream

Sally Shapiro – Hold Me So Tight (remix)
